Opened in 1915, The Sussex Hotel was originally a popular wharfside watering hole, historically known as the Hunter River Inn, and later as the Big House in the 1970s-90s.

One of the oldest buildings in a now-modern Barangaroo, the Edwardian-style heritage pub is a striking four-storey beacon of thirst quenching and hunger sating for local residents, workers and visitors to Sydney.
